Select the perfect place for your tree. We recommend a smooth level surface, away from heaters and fireplaces which will dry out your tree and turn the tips dry and crispy. Please remember that this is a live tree and prefers to be outdoors and can be left outside in a sheltered spot and kept watered before and after the dates you want it inside. |

Watering your tree is the most important thing you can do to keep the tree happy. On delivery day it will not have been watered to help with the transport of the plant, so it will be thirsty on arrival. We will supply you with a drip tray. Water it like any other house plant. Just remember to place the drip tray underneath to stop any water coming through. The plant will need to be checked daily if in a home or fitted with the watering spike and a full large bottle of water if in a cool office over the weekend. If the tree is kept well hydrated then the needles will stay soft to the touch and will not drop. |

When decorating your tree, please try and use LED lights on your tree. We do stock a range of them (call and speak to Peter). LED lights are not only less damaging to the tree as they run cooler than conventional lights, this poses less of a fire risk and LED lights are more cost effective to use. Some boffin worked out that if in America, if every person used LED lights over the Christmas period, then it would have saved $160,000,000 of electricity! We would love for you to send us pictures of your decorated tree - look out for our competition for the best decorated tree. |
