The trees have all been pot grown from seed, so the roots have not spread out. This is the main difference from potted trees which have been grown in the ground before they are dug up and fitted into a pot. To do this they have to have most of their roots cut off, so while they will look good for a few weeks, they will have a low percentage of survival.

Another big plus of the "Live tree" is that needle drop will be minimal if kept watered and the care instructions are followed. Please remember though that all living plants will shed leaves or needles

Trees also split water vapour into hydrogen and oxygen, reducing the humidity of the space surrounding the tree thus improving the air quality.

Whilst some companies are keen to say they replant one tree for every tree cut, a small seedling will take several years before it can do the same good as a larger tree. Our trees are already of a size to help the environment and only grow larger every year.
